The Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM – Sanan Group) is a leading faction of Sindh’s nationalist movement, upholding the ideology of G.M. Syed, founder of the Sindhudesh concept. Currently chaired by Sanan Khan Qureshi (son of martyred leader Bashir Khan Qureshi), the group advocates for Sindh’s peaceful separation from Pakistan through:
- Democratic resistance
- Mass mobilization
- International advocacy
Renowned for its youth-driven momentum, JSQM (Sanan Group) maintains strong grassroots support across Sindh.
📅 Founding & Leadership
- Original JSQM founded: 1995 (merger of Jeay Sindh factions after G.M. Syed’s death)
- JSQM (Sanan Group) established: 2012 (following Bashir Khan Qureshi’s death)
- Current Chairman: Sanan Khan Qureshi
After Bashir Khan Qureshi’s unexplained death in 2012, leadership passed to his son Sanan. This transition caused internal divisions, resulting in the Sanan-led faction retaining the JSQM name.
